When the often-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes a job tending the bar and sanding shoes at his local bowling alley, AlleyCatz, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When AlleyCatz is in financial trouble, former bowler and current champion, the drunken Skunk (D’Arcy Carden), forces Walt to embrace his role as the greatest bowler who ever walked the earth. While Walt’s love of big checks and his eye-popping style of play dominate the Pro Tour, his opponents, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Courson (Susan Sarandon), fiercely try to extinguish Walt’s flame before it burns too brightly.
